BIO
Silas Oo Wei Sheng is a Fine Art graduate from The One Academy of Communication and Design, Malaysia. He is a multidisciplinary artist, working with various mediums, with a particular interest in the integration of philosophy, psyche and the human condition.
Silas also makes a living by modelling for runways and editorials. This unique position places him directly in the whirlwind of contemporary image-making culture as well as fashion and textiles.
He interrogates concepts of body image, religious spirituality and emotional disfunction through dysmorphic bodies and raw, brutalist forms.
